The Medical Promotion internship

Future Talents Program 2026

The Future Talents Program is Sato Pharma's Medical Promotion internship: four weeks, from 16 August to 12 September 2026, in which pharmacy students and fresh graduates stop studying the job and start doing it — in hospitals, polyclinics and pharmacies, on a real product line, with every call logged as it happens.

01The programme

Four weeks in the field. Every call on the record.

01

Why the programme exists

Medical promotion is learned in a doctor's waiting room, not in a lecture hall. The programme is built on that idea: give talented young pharmacists a real territory and a real product line, surround them with training and mentorship, and then measure what they actually do.

Each intern joins one of three lines — CNS, OTC or Pediatrics — and carries its portfolio from the first day to the last. By the end of the four weeks they have not read about a sales call; they have made hundreds of them between them.

02

Mornings, afternoons and pharmacies

The working day follows the rhythm of the field. Mornings are hospital visits, while doctors are on the wards. Afternoons are polyclinic visits, in the clinics where most prescriptions are written.

Running alongside both is the pharmacy campaign: calls on the pharmacists who stock and recommend the products. It is also where an intern can take a real order, which the company then reviews and approves.

Every call is logged on the Future Talents portal at the time it is made — who was seen, where, and which products were detailed.

Nothing is filled in afterwards from memory. The record is written in the field.

03

Learning alongside the work

Field days are paired with live training sessions for each line: product knowledge, the structure of a sales call, and the questions doctors and pharmacists really ask. Attendance at every session is recorded to the minute.

Product papers test what was taught, and every paper carries the same weight whichever line it was set for. Guest speakers and mentorship from the Sato Pharma team run through the whole programme.

04

Measured every day

Performance is scored, not guessed. Field visits, session attendance, paper marks and engagement in the programme's LinkedIn challenge add up to one score, which every intern can follow on the portal.

Weekly standings run from Saturday to Friday, the Egyptian working week, and daily awards recognise the strongest field work of each day.

05

What an intern leaves with

At the close, each intern keeps their journey: a day-by-day record of the four weeks, told in charts and figures.

Interns who complete the programme receive a certificate signed by Omar Anwar Gawish, HR Section Head. It carries the figures from their own record and a QR code that leads to its verification page, so anyone can confirm it is genuine.

The strongest performers are considered for Medical Promotion roles in Sato Pharma's commercial teams.
